Welcome to the offical Chocolate Quest Re-poured Wiki! This is meant to be a place to find information about the mod.

What is Chocolate Quest Repoured?

Chocolate Quest Repoured, or CQR, is a re-imagining of the Minecraft 1.7.10 mod "Chocolate Quest," created by Chocolatin. CQR is not a direct port, but is intended to capture nearly all of the features from the original mod with updates and improvements to improve gameplay or stability.

How far along is development?

Development is currently in the Beta stages. You can download it from Curseforge here

As of November 10, 2020, the first Beta build was released, and the Beta stage is planned to be "feature complete" with all Classic features implemented. It is unknown how long until the mod is fully completed, but when Beta 6.0 released, it was said the next major update of the mod would be on 1.16.5, which would receive only one version and not add any new content from the 1.12.2 versions before the mod moves on to future versions. And the 1.12.2 version won't receive any more content updates, only bug fixes.

However around late 2023, it was decided to instead focus on bringing the mod over to 1.20.1+ versions and abandon the work done on the 1.16.5 version, currently it is still unknown how long it will take for this update to be released, however it will have new content compared to what 1.16.5 was originally going to have.

How can I report bugs?

BEFORE YOU REPORT A BUG: Understand that we are still in Beta stages, so not all intended features are complete, or even in the mod to begin with. "When will XXX be added?" is not a bug. However, we are very interested in crashes caused by our mod - and slightly less interested in crashes caused by our mod working alongside other mods.

If you think you have found a bug, please first check that it does not already exist on our active issues list , then follow this link to make an issue ticket on our Github. PLEASE PLEASE PLEASE follow the issue template that gets auto-filled when you start the Bug Report. Skipping or omitting information is a great way to get your bug report rejected.
